Security

RVscan takes account and diagnostic data security seriously while recognizing that no online system is completely risk-free.

Our inbound email isn’t switched on yet. Messages sent to an @rvscan.com address may not reach us. Until it is, use the early-access form and we’ll respond there. We will not treat a request as unmade because our mail was not working.

RVscan handles diagnostic descriptions, uploaded images, RV information, and account details. Security is a shared responsibility between RVscan, service providers, and users.

Account protection

RVscan uses authentication and account controls to help protect user workspaces. Users are responsible for choosing strong passwords, keeping credentials private, and signing out on shared devices.

Storage and access practices

RVscan is designed to store account data, diagnostic records, uploaded photos, and knowledge files using protected database and storage services with access controls. Internal access should be limited to people or systems that need it to operate, support, secure, or improve the service.

Transmission security

RVscan is intended to use HTTPS and secure transmission practices for web traffic. Users should avoid uploading sensitive information over untrusted networks or from compromised devices.

No system is 100% secure

No internet service, AI system, storage provider, or authentication system can be guaranteed completely secure. RVscan cannot guarantee that unauthorized access, data loss, or security incidents will never occur.

Reporting security issues

If you believe you found a security issue, contact RVscan through the contact page with a clear description, steps to reproduce if safe, and relevant screenshots or logs. Do not access, modify, download, or disclose other users' data.
